A/ Prof Jane Mccrohon has worked as a cardiologist in the St George Area since 2002 and has a particular interest in cardiac imaging, early detection and prevention of heart disease and cardiomyopathy. After completing her medical degree and basic training in cardiology in Sydney, Dr McCrohon was awarded a fellowship in cardiac imaging in London, UK, before returning to St George Hospital in 2002 where she was Director of Cardiology for 5 years and subsequently as Associate Professor in Medicine at St Vincent's Hospital and UNSW. She has a strong interest in teaching and training at graduate and undergraduate level as well as continuing interests in cardiac imaging research and improving patient care.

She has enjoyed working at Hurstville Heart Centre since 2015 and looks forward to continuing her care for patients in the area.

In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, spend time in nature and explore her love of painting and music.
