Damian Mansour is a Newcastle trained orthopaedic surgeon who subspecialises in sports orthopaedics with a focus on shoulder, elbow, and sports knee injuries.

With his foundations in Newcastle, he attended medical school here and went on to train in orthopaedic surgery within Hunter New England. He has serviced the area throughout the course of his career. He has advanced his skills and knowledge in Europe completing a fellowship in sports orthopaedic surgery and additional fellowship training in elbow arthroscopy and shoulder arthroscopy in Oslo, Norway where he treated both public and Olympic level athletes.

Damian’s love of the active lifestyle drives his philosophy of his practice. This is to treat his patients’ spectrum of injuries and conditions with the purpose of returning to them to the activities that they love, enjoy and compete at. He is an avid surfer and gym trainer. When he is not at work, he can be found spending time with his family out in the water at his local break.
